  • ROOM RATES:

    Posted room rates at the Fargo Mansion Inn do not include a 5.5% sales tax rate. Only two people allowed per rooms. At this time we will not accomodate an additional guest.

  • RESERVATIONS:

    Reservations may be held with M/C, Visa, American Express or Discover. To use a gift certificate of any kind must be indicated at the time of reservation. We accept the following gift certificates: Wisconsin Bed Breakfast Association, Bed and Breakfast.com and Fargo Mansion Inn issued certificates.

  • CANCELLATIONS:

    A full refund is provided if the cancellation is received one week prior to the upcoming reservation date. Party will be charged the amount of the room reservation if we are unable to book the room.

  • CHILDREN:

    Children are not recommended at the Fargo Mansion Inn, however exceptions can be made by checking with the Innkeeper at the time of the reservation.

  • SMOKING:

    The Fargo Mansion Inn is a non-smoking property. Smoking is allowed in designated outdoor areas.

  • PETS:

    We are unable to accept guest pets at the Inn. Innkeepers have "Stella" the inn cat who does not enter the guest rooms at the Inn.

  • CANCELLATIONS:

  • CHECK-IN:

    Check-in is from 3pm-6pm. Later check-ins can be arranged at the time of reservation. A self check-in procedure may be provided in some instances.

  • CHECK-OUT:

    Check-out is by 11am. Later check-out may only be accommodated by the housekeeping schedule.

Breakfast


We serve a full breakfast everyday in the formal dining room at the Fargo Mansion Inn.  To be able to serve a fresh and hot breakfast to all of our guests, we have one seating for breakfast and it is served each morning at 8:30 am.  Earlier times for business guests or the outdoor enthusiast can be arranged in advance.  Breakfast always consists of seasonal fruits, fresh juices, fresh baked sweets and a hot entree.  We always accommodate special dietary needs.   If  you choose to sleep in, coffee, juice and baked goods are generally available. Coffee is always available an hour before breakfast everyday! Breakfast at the inn is always an enjoyable time...conversations can last far beyond the breakfast table.

Weddings

The Fargo Mansion Inn has housed over 75 weddings in the past 25 years! The mansion and its grounds are available to rent for your special day.  Contact Innkeeper Tom for complete details.  A one hour no cost consultation is available as well. Whether it is an event for 20 or for 120, we can provide you with all of the information you need to plan your fairytale day.  Lake Mills may be a small town, but all of the services for your event are available locally! Food, flowers, beverages, spa services and more are offered in town.

Christmas at the INN

The most wonderful time of the year to visit the Mansion, is the holidays! Magnificently decorated, the mansion is sure to help you capture the spirit of the season.  Whether you are in town to visit family or friends, attend a holiday party, or for the Lake Mills Classic Christmas the first weekend of December, we are sure you will be warmed by the charm of the Inn.
